ITA: L'associazione Borbonica Sotteranea nasce nel 2010, quando il Geologo Gianluca Minin dal 2005 decise di ripulire la Galleria Borbonica da tonnellate di detriti e rifiuti e riportarla ai vecchi splendori. Il suo duro lavoro è stato accompagnato dall'aiuto di tanti giovani volontari che oggi hanno permesso la fruizione a tutti di un gioiello del sottosuolo partenopeo. – ENG: An accidental rediscovery in 2005 – when a team of geologists leaded by Gianluca Minin were checking the conditions of some quarries beneath the Monte di Dio neighbourhood – of an impressive underground network of ancient passageway, curiously filled with vintage cars and forgotten relics, below Plebiscito square. It took five years for Minin and his team of volunteers and speleologists to clean the area of debris, and then, in November 2010, the Galleria Borbonica museum launched the Standard tour that commemorates the lives of those who used to escape during WWII.
